Dominion Voting Systems has urged a Delaware judge to compel News Corp Chairman Rupert Murdoch and his son, Fox Corp CEO Lachlan Murdoch, to appear in court during an upcoming trial over a $1.6bn defamation lawsuit against Fox and its networks. Dominion has also requested live testimony from Paul Ryan, former Republican House Speaker and Fox board member, and Viet Dinh, Fox's policy and law director. The request follows the judge's decision to hold the trial in April. The lawsuit relates to claims made by Fox about the 2020 US presidential election, which Dominion says were false.
